UFM is a leading polyolefin bun foam producer. Using the latest technology our UNIFOAM® product range is made from high quality Polyethylene, EPDM and EVA copolymers.
UFM is certified according to the ISO 9001 quality standard and is also certified according to the ISO 14001 environmental management system.

UNIFOAM® is a chemically cross-linked closed cell batch foam with a superior superfine cell structure across all standard grades. At the same time we have the flexibility to produce coarser cell structures in certain grades as may be required by our customers particularly in the packaging sector.

Our foams have very good physical properties and are converted for a wide range of industries including the automotive, acoustic, aerospace, appliance, building and construction, electronics, HVAC, marine, medical and health care, military, packaging and sports and leisure industries.

The nominal density range of UNIFOAM® is 25 to 300 kg/m³ and it can be supplied in a range of colours including black, white, grey, anthracite, blue, green, yellow, and red. Special colours can be produced on request provided the quantity required is acceptable. Flame retardant and antistatic grades can also be supplied.

UNIFOAM® has very good thermo-forming and low water absorption properties, very good thermal insulating capabilities, is highly energy absorbent, has low water vapour transmission, good weathering and is generally chemically inert.

UNIFOAM® can be processed in anyone of the following ways:

· Adhesive bonded · Laminated
· Band-saw cut · Routed
· Butt welded · Thermoformed
· Cold moulded · Strip cut
· Die-cut · Split
· Heat welded · Vacuum formed
· Hot wire cut · Water-jet cut

(This list is not finite, you may have other ideas or methods of processing UNIFOAM which could and do also work).

Our foams are non-toxic and manufactured without CFC's or other substances which may harm the ozone as mentioned in the Montreal Protocol.

Our cross-linked polyethylene foam is considered as an “article” according to REACH regulations; therefore UFM can be seen as a REACH downstream user (and not as producer, importer or user who is obliged to register).
